I learned that the city is trying their best to earn money to fix streets and sidewalks in oakland that’s why they aren’t fixing it right now.
- Describe the response you got about the issue you reported. What was the message you received? Who sent you that message?
The message said that they received the issue and that they are working to earn money for the streets and sidewalks of oakland.
- Describe how the 9th grade students are tracking the progress of the issue we reported using stickies and posters. What do each posters mean?
Their issues are moving forward toward closed they are going from open to acknowledge and last to closed. Open means that the issue is being reported, acknowledge means it has been seen and u got a response and closed mean it has been fixed.
- Did you change the status of the issue you reported on a poster? Explain why, or why not.
Yes, I went from open to acknowledge because They seen the issue and responded to it but haven’t really fixed it.
- Did any patterns emerge on the poster about which issues are resolved, and which are not? Explain your answer.
The pattern is that most of the posters are moving from open to acknowledge and really few go to closed which means the issues we are reporting are being noticed.
- Do you think 9th grade students are gaining agency based on their efforts on this project? Explain your answer. yes, they are gaining agency because for some of the students their issues have been fixed and some have been responded to ,but are still working on them.
